"Spring Morning" Original Illustration *with a tint changing pigment, please read description*

This is an original ink and watercolor illustration signed by hand, by me, of course!

It is on cold pressed, 100% cotton rag, acid free watercolor paper.

*This piece includes the paint "Rhodonite Genuine" which contains a jewelry quality stone, rhodonite, which is known to oxidize over time, leading to the paint changing its tint over time as well.  Some people say it gets more brown or gray brown, some people say it turns maroon.  Examples I have seen looked like a darker earthy maroon to me after one year.  This is a feat of nature and therefore I can't guarantee that is will change, what it will change to, or how long it will take to happen.*

This illustration is inked and painted in India ink and watercolor on 140lb(300g) cold press watercolor paper.

I have hand deckled this piece and gently mounted it with acid free artist tape onto white acid free, textured, 4x6 inch watercolor paper and matted it in mat measuring 5x7 inches on the outside.  It's either ready to frame as is or easy to remove from the backing and mount or frame however you choose!

It will arrive in a clear protective sleeve with rigid backing.
